A Rochester classic,

back on W Main st.

Classic diner. Italian family. Downtown Rochester.

A bit about us and where we come from

124 West Main Street. This building's been feeding Rochester since the early 1800s.

It started as the Alfing Bakery Company, became the famous Otto Zern's Bakery, then The Cottage in 1888.

The Busy Bee first opened in the 1930s on Front Street and East Main Street, moved around a few times, and landed here for good in the 1980s. It became a Rochester staple, run by the Hassos family, most notably Starvos (Steve) and Pavlos (Paul), until 2023.

Now it's our turn.

Same name. Same building. Same idea: a family diner serving classics, plus a few dishes we grew up eating. We're not an Italian restaurant, but we're an Italian family, and you'll taste it.

Sit anywhere.
